Each display gets a borderless window at desktop level, above the system wallpaper and below the icons, playing a muted, hardware-decoded loop. It opens on a Home page where cards preview their clip when you hover them, and it pauses on its own behind full-screen apps, on a low battery, in Low Power Mode or when the Mac runs hot.
Version 1.3.0 added audio-reactive wallpapers driven by the sound the Mac plays (never the microphone), Day & Night pairs that switch at sunrise and sunset, playlists on a schedule, and an installer that checks the download against a published SHA-256 checksum.
Every clip comes from NASA, ESA/Webb, ESA/Hubble, ESO or Wikimedia Commons, is checked at 3840×2160 or larger, and shows its credit and licence. Every push runs CI; bumping the version publishes the release on its own.
